After testing it they said it's a vintage model, any mac thats 5 years or older is vintage as far as apple are concerned and said can't fix it even if we wanted to as we don't stock parts for anything over five years old, Great so I just throw it in the bin and buy a new one, no said the nice lady you can get a pc repairer to fix.
